Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy of Domme. The actress was inspired by her parents, dentist, and a teacher who both taught her to pursue her passion for theatre. It was in stark contrast with her previous desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she adored monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and enjoyed huge success. When she finished her education She was a part of the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career as an actress. Tautou attended church and the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she now dissociates herself from the aforementioned societal influences. As well as her acting profession she also pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious passion for photography. She recently exhibited her work at the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and then turns her camera to those who scrutinized her following her sudden rise to fame in the film Amelie as well as self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's worldwide success and fame soared after her performance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie received international acclai film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies across the globe. It's also the biggest French film in the history of French language to be made on the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fiancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
