Ashley Darby (born April 14 in 1980) was born on April 14, 1980. She is an American performer and actress. Her fame was boosted by being named Miss District of Columbia 2011. The Real Housewives of Potomac is a show that has her as a frequent participant since January. Ashley Darby has a strong passion for entrepreneurship, hospitality and the holistic approach to health. Being an Maryland born, with a fiery personality Ashley has been instilled with determination and an inexplicably strong determination to achieve. The oldest child in her family, Ashley has had to manage multiple jobs to help support her single mom and younger siblings. At the age of 18, she attended her first University of Maryland and bartended on the side to keep both herself and her family financially sound. She also won Miss District of Columbia 2011 and was awarded the title. The following years she participated in Miss America and even though she wasn't crowned Miss America she won a $500,000 prize. The scholarship was worth $5000 as well as her the John Curran Non-Finalist Interview Award.
